This is how Janina from Germany is able to finance her English study programme:

Janina Bock

I have been studying the English Bachelor programme International Hotel Management. To finance my studies, I received a student loan from the KfW Bank at the beginning of my studies. This is a German development bank, which offers young people loans with attractive terms. In order to avoid paying off my loan long after completion of my degree, I started working part-time at a hotel in Dresden. I work in the breakfast service and the banquet department. Of course, it is not always easy to maintain a balance between my university, work and personal life. Especially in the first semester, I did not always have time to attend friends’ birthday parties or visit my family on a regular basis. However, I benefit greatly from the practical experience that my part-time job provides and was even able to complete my 6-week internship there.
