New English-taught Master‘s programmes in Management

From October 2019, the Master's programmes "Hospitality Management & Leadership" and "International Business & Leadership" will start at the Dresden campus.

The SRH Hochschule Berlin is further expanding its range of courses on offer on the Dresden campus. In the winter semester 2019/2020 the two master programmes "Hospitality Management & Leadership" and "International Business & Leadership" will start. Both courses are taught in English and are aimed at bachelor graduates who wish to pursue a career in upper management on an international level.

The two Master's programmes are completed as full-time variants in four semesters and include an internship abroad or a semester abroad. In the first semester, the students of both programmes analyze new developments in the market and the future professional fields resulting from them. In view of the fact that future managers must also have a high understanding of financial aspects and markets, these contents are also integrated. In the second semester, the two Master's programmes are taught differentiated according to two focal points.

The contents of the Master's degree "Hospitality Management & Leadership" are dedicated to strategic management tasks, taking into account the specifics of the hotel industry. Within the scope of research, management approaches within the hotel industry are also analysed and discussed. In the Master's programme "International Business & Leadership", current personnel management topics for all industries are taught and management tasks on a global level is considered. Management methods in the age of New Work are examined as well as health-oriented aspects.

„In the age of globalisation and digitalisation, international companies increasingly need employees who, in addition to specialist knowledge and practical experience, also have personal skills such as solution-oriented thinking, independence and intercultural experience.“, explains Karin Zimmermann, campus manager of SRH Dresden. „With our Master‘s programmes we correspond exactly to that. The combination of high quality specialist knowledge, numerous company projects and an internship or semester abroad prepares students for the future world of work.“
