A colourful city full of possibilities

Sports, fun and leisure cannot be neglected while studying. Dresden has something to offer for everyone with its numerous sports, leisure and cultural activities.

Always moving – Sport Activities Many possibilities to work up a sweat

Aside from the annual Soccer Cup against teams from all over Germany, the campus soccer team offers many opportunities to stay in shape. In addition, there are many other possibilities to participate in sports.

One of these possibilities is „BouncingBalls“: Co-founded by one of our students, the start-up KOALA BASE offers all sports enthusiasts the opportunity to get involved in this game of skill.

The Dresdner Heide and Elbufer are also great places for walking, cycling or inline skating. The neighbouring Saxonia Switzerland is the perfect place for climbing and hiking. In Dresden, there are also numerous associations, health clubs, public swimming pools, indoor climbing halls, a water ski facility and a high ropes course.

Our students can also use the facilities of the Berufsbildungswerks Sachsen, which is also a company of the SRH. They have many facilities, including soccer, volleyball, table tennis, fitness and pool.

Only in Dresden will you find worldwide known cultural events such as the Semper Opera Ball or figure skating at the Taschenbergpalais Kempinski.
